Hi, my name is Emilia Johnson — a passionate and driven Marketing student at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA (yes, that makes me a lifelong Steelers fan by default!), I grew up with a deep love for sports, which led me to play collegiate basketball. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong passion for marketing — drawn to its creative potential and real-world impact.

Throughout my time at Fisher, I’ve had the opportunity to grow academically and professionally by:

• Participating in the American Marketing Association (AMA)

• Collaborating with local businesses through hands-on coursework

• Attending industry site visits and networking events

In my final semester, I’m excited to serve as:

• Chief Marketing Officer of the Fisher Investment Club

• A member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council

I have much experience using various social media platforms to promote organizations, specifically Instagram and LinkedIn. My final semester, I am extremely excited to be taking a Video Storytelling course and a Social Media Marketing course where I will be able to refine my video editing skills, and play around with how to maximize audience engagement. I will be creating my own social media account on TikTok to gain hands-on experience with this platform.

Above all, I’m fueled by my faith, close relationships with my family and friends, and the desire to make meaningful connections in both life and work. I’m currently seeking opportunities to grow, learn, and contribute — and I’d love to connect!
